John and Irene would like to thank you, thank you, thank you friends, family, and awesome customers for supporting Yin Yang Fandango & The Tango Tea Room for 12 awe-inspiring years! (It’s our anniversary!!!)

Tango Fandango is undergoing many new and exciting changes that we hope will make your experience here even better and yummier.  Please stop by and say “hi”!  We look forward to many more years of good vibes, good food, and a wonderful community.  We have lots of great ideas we’ll be implementing and many more events for you to enjoy!

During the month of August we will be re-structuring management so that our family can TRAVEL THE WORLD!  We will be leaving after September for Ecuador, then will return for the holidays.  Then we’re off (hopefully for one year) to Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand, Bali, Turkey, Spain, and Scotland to learn more about sustainable living, getting in touch with nature, and searching for our new home and new life.  We invite you to follow our exciting adventure through our travel blog:

Our mission behind this evolving website is to chronicle our travels and share with you our videos that include interviews with awesome, inspiring, creative people that we meet on our journey.  We also would like to inspire others to live the life of their dreams, live passionately, and live creatively.  We welcome you to contact us through that website (or thetravelcreatives@gmail.com) if you would like to connect or be on our email list.  We will send you an email whenever a new blog post is added.  We are grateful for your support.

Words cannot express how grateful we are to this amazing community for being so receptive to this unique shop, restaurant, and center.  We have personally grown profoundly through this rare and beautiful experience of operating this center and sharing it with you.  We have especially learned the invaluable lesson of the power of community–of connections with people.  We have witnessed the power and the gifts bestowed upon one’s self when you live your life (and run a business) with a heart-centered approach.  I’m not suggesting that we always made the right decisions or let stresses get the best of us at times…But we have definitely noticed that life brings you good things when you are kind, gracious, and generous.  There is a perfection that can be attained when you quiet yourself, embrace the moment, and listen to the greater guidance within.  We would like to explore this more as we travel with our family.  We encourage everyone to strive to create the best version of yourself, CREATE, and follow your dreams.

We love you very much.  Thank you.  We wish you peace beyond all understanding.

Important Note: Irene is moving her massage therapy practice OUT of Tango Fandango starting August 1, 2010.  We are making room for a real grown-up office!  If you would like to schedule a massage, please call Irene at 779-7207.  Irene will be doing outcall massages at your home or office for $60/hour (no more outcall fee!).  If you would like to get a massage at a studio, she will be massaging at the Pilates Center at Gaslight Square for the next 2 months before traveling.  After that…no more  So, get your massages in soon!

Saturday Yoga with Ashley

10:15-11:30 AM

Hang out with us on Saturday mornings.

Sip your tea or coffee, and get your breathing and stretching in for the day.

Maybe even get a nice walk in on the beautiful Corpus Christi bayfront!

Ashley will offer yoga classes in Saturdays starting July 17th and continuing through August & September 2010
